From concept to creation, here's how I bring ideas to life

First Prize - GBDA Brochure Design Competition

Representing the 3 pillars of design, business & tech

In October 2024, the Stratford School of Interaction Design launched a design competition for a poster representing its pillars of tech, design, and business. Despite only having three days, I decided to take on the challenge—and my design was selected as the winner. It was incredibly rewarding to see it featured at events like the University Open House and to represent my major through my own artistic work. Knowing the judging committee valued my understanding of the program made the experience even more meaningful.

4 years shaping
YASMUN’s public presence

Over four years at Youth Ascendancy MUN, I rose from a young designer to VP of Public Relations, steering the design, content, and media teams. As Ho Chi Minh City’s biggest youth-diplomacy conference, every asset had to match that stature. Here’s a snapshot of the work that did.

Yearbook Design

As Editor-in-Chief of my high school’s yearbook, I led a 15-member team to create a 160-page editorial layout over 9 months, all while adjusting to a new school and country. Noticing past yearbooks prioritized teachers' perspectives, I aimed to capture a more student-driven narrative, especially for the school’s Jubilee anniversary. More than a provincial award and countless praises from the students & faculty, I walked away with a passion for empowering young creatives and learning how to make human-centered design that leaves a long-lasting visual and emotional experience

Logo Designs

From crafting the winning logo for one of Vietnam’s largest national banks, to breathing life into a Nobel Peace prize nominee non-profit, or recreating the Vietnamese Basketball Federation logo with a contemporary lens - my experience in logo design spans industries, cultures, and stories.

In Grade 9, I was the 1st Prize recipient for the logo design of the Bank of Investment & Development of Vietnam (Main Branch), one of the most established banks of the nation, where I competed against 20 individuals and organizations to design the logo that celebrate its 30th year anniversary. It used the image of the Phoenix bird to represent that the branch is always in the position of becoming stronger, more brilliant, and enduring with time.

One of my clients was an owner of a newly open Vietnamese vegan restaurant. Using imagery of unfolding lotus buds and lotus leaf to evoke harmony, balance, and inner serenity. The soft, organic forms reflect the restaurant’s name and mission of reconnecting with our most authentic, rustic selves.

Created for the Nobel Peace Prize–nominated non-profit Flow Impact, this logo reflects its mission to empower future leaders through education, technology, and community. Symbols of a book, flame, circuit, and helping hands capture its core values of learning, innovation, and connection, rooted in faith.
